Well, my first week at my new job in DC was good; two days of heavy orientation and then two days of office moving. My brother-in-law is getting married today, so I worked remotely yesterday. Even so, it was the most productive of the whole week. Haha.

Today has been slow as everyone runs around preparing for the wedding. It’s given me an opportunity to get some thinking time in. I realize I am about to enter a period of some serious change. The new job brings challenges both professionally and personally with the commute to DC, navigating a new city with it’s own tribal group-think customs, and being away from my new family. I don’t suppose I even need to mention the baby that’s on the way. That, in itself, would be enough to drive a sane person mad.
