Hamthrax!
So, we’re back from Mexico. Actually, we got back a week ago, but stuff has been going on and keeping me from the Interhighway. First, work put both Mandie and I on quarantine last week, to see if we developed any symptoms of the dreaded H1N1. No, it wasn’t like a second week’s vacation. We both had to work from home. So we sat on our kiesters for a few days and remoted into work.
Some time on Wednesday, I began to feel a little light-headed and woozy. I chalked it up to working from home and not eating properly. By Thursday, I couldn’t stand without throwing up. But was it the “fun” and “popular” Swine Flu? Nope. Just a run-of-the-mill case of viral vertigo (uno, dos, tres, catorce!). A few doses of something later and it now just feels like I’ve had a few beers.
Now, it’s back to work. I’ve lost so much time and am due to give a presentation (which I haven’t started yet) tomorrow in Valley Forge, PA at a security group meeting. Yay!
The trip was amazing and photos are up on Flickr.
